Oil Pressure warning switch is used in the lubrication system of the engine. If pressure is reduced to a certain amount the product contact is turned on, and the alarm indicator warns the driver to add oil.

The oil pressure alarm is a normally closed by the pressure of the oil. When the amount of oil goes below a certain amount, the output pressure is too low to keep the contact open resulting the contacts touching and triggering the alarm.
