The crankshaft position sensor is usually installed in the distributor and consists of a signal generator, Hall components and a magnetically isolated housing.
Its functions are: detecting the engine speed, so it is also called a speed sensor; detecting the top dead center position of the piston, so it is also called a top dead center sensor, including the detection of the top dead center signal of each cylinder used to control ignition, and the top dead center signal of the first cylinder used to control sequential fuel injection.
